 After mastering his craft in the European carpentry trade schools, Rick Van Den Berg brought his skills and expertise to Canada. Starting as an independent contractor in 1980, Rick built for anyone who needed customized carpentry work. Demand for building customized sheds, decks, gazebos, and cabanas grew and Rick's reputation for creativity and craftsmanship became well known. His success led him to specialize, and in 1987 Rick started Gerrick Carpentry. With a crew of equally trained craftsman, Gerrick Carpentry has grown significantly through word of mouth referrals.
